Stuff for the book, Part 2.

Wed Sep 6, 2006, 5:52 PM
So, here we go again. So this entry will explain some of the powers that come with certain elements, the special powers that the Chosen Warriors have, and the basic religions of the world. For the basic elemental powers, I’ll give you a brief description of what controlling the element means, and then give you the name of the ultimate attack of the elements, an attack that will kill the wielder…usually. With the special powers it’ll be a brief description of what happens when they use the attack, and what the attack looks like. Finally with the religions…well it’ll just be easier if you read it.

Light Wielders
Okay, so Light Wielders can send out flashes of light that can be as powerfully bright as the sun, causing people to fry into ashes, though that takes years of practice. They can travel with the light but it takes total concentration to go for long distances. Light wielders aren’t very great at combat using their elements due to the lack of attacks that can be performed, though the few they have are quite powerful, especially The Lified. During said attack, the wielder calls forth a beam of light from the heavens, then, they magnify it, and fry their opponent like an ant. Light is more of a defensive element used for distracting foes, and then while the enemy is blinded the user flies in using their weapons. Light users go out in groups with people of other elements in times of war, that way the light user can blind the enemy, and then said enemy can be destroyed by others.

Fire Wielders
Fire Wielders are one of the two groups of wielders who can not use their element for travel, Earth Wielders being the other. Fire Wielders can not only create fire spontaneously, but they can manipulate it as they like. Like all the elements, the element of fire has one super powerful move, it being The Slare. Using the Slare is a last ditch effort due to the fact that it is a suicidal attack. The wielder spins a strand of fire, like how a fair worker spins a cotton candy, to a colossal proportion. After which they toss it into the air, and it sends out a blast that can level a large city in seconds.

Water Wielders
Water Wielders can of course control water in all of its forms, and once someone has total mastery of water, they might be able to pull off the most powerful move of water based attacks, The Draining Hand, and I say might be able because very few people can pull it off. The Draining Hand looks like someone has coated their hand in five inches of water, and the water has taken the shape of their hand. If an object that contains water in it gets touched by the Draining Hand, all of the water shall be sucked out of it, leaving a dried version of whatever they touched behind. Water Wielders can also expand, and condense, water vapor in the air to the point where they can create mile long rivers midair, which they can travel through. They can make water go through its phases instantly, turning water to ice, to fog in five seconds. Water users are naturally great swimmers, and spend most of their free time at the beach.

Dark Wielders
To wield darkness is to control an element of mass power. Wielders must be able to use an enormous amount of energy for a long period of time. Dark Wielders can enter the darkness and travel through it like water, as long as they come up to breathe, that is.
They also have the ability to communicate with oni from the time they begin to learn to speak. This allows them to survive in the Dark Realm by letting the oni know that the wielder is not food. Most of the time dark wielders and oni get along well, and in some cases friendships occur. Back to the powers, Dark Wielders control darkness much like how water wielders control water, both are manipulated in a fluid state, but only with darkness can one create a crushing tomb, a soul stealing gas, and a poisonous liquid. The Ultimate attack of darkness involves the user giving up their life to open up a vortex that swallows everything and sends it to the dark realm, where Non-Dark Wielders die instantly. This is known simply as The Portal.

I’d like to say here that just the element of darkness is not an evil element, just as the element of light is not a righteous one. They are both capable of being used for good or vile things.

Earth Wielders
To wield the earth is to control the dirt, stone, crystals, and metals found naturally in the planet. If one wields earth, they can manipulate the fore mentioned objects however they please. Note that they can not control plants or animals; No power is great enough to control lives, though Earth Wielders do have an uncanny ability to be great botanists, and are usually on excellent terms with all creatures. As stated above Earth Wielders can not travel using their element. Instead they usually meet with other elemental wielders, usually Wind Wielders, to help them get from place to place. The Plunge is the ultimate attack used by Earth Wielders. To sum it up the wielder forces the earth to separate to create a large chasm. At the bottom of said pit, they force the remaining earth/ minerals/ rocks/ crystals they find and force them into giant, sharp, needle like projections, and whatever lands on them is instantly impaled.

Wind Wielders
The beautiful, benevolent, and caring females endowed with the power of wind…and Larces…can manipulate the breezes and storms of the planet to their hearts’ contents. They can take a small breeze, turn into a hurricane in the blink of an eye, control the movements of the rainstorms, and manipulate the plasma commonly known as lightning. They can travel great distances by using the wind to make air cushions that lifts them off the ground, and allow them to “Fly”. Wind Wielders attacks are quite lethal, (summoning hurricanes/ tornadoes,) and when used with the attacks of other elemental wielders, the effects can only get worse, (sand storms, tsunamis, meteors.) The ultimate attack a Wind Wielder can use is simply called “Proper Genocide”. When used, the wielder in question summons a thunderstorm, and allows it to grow to phenomenal proportions. They then tell the storm to discharge its electricity, and the storm bolts the surrounding five miles with lightning. Of course, this only works if the wielder allows themselves to be hit by the first lightning bolt, instantly causing death, and afterwards anything left standing is fried and dead.

The Six Warriors are granted a special armor and weapon when they are chosen. These appear to the warriors whenever they are needed, and if used correctly the weapons have a very special attack that the warrior can use, at a large price. To use one of these attacks, the warrior must sacrifice at least eighty percent of their energy. If they do choose to use them, it’s a simple process. By fusing their element with their weapons, the warrior can utilize an attack that only they can perform.

Arias uses a lance for fighting, and when she calls for her special weapon, she can fuse it with a large amount of light, creating a luminescent spear. She takes the spear hurls it out over the battle field where it hangs in midair for twenty seconds. Once those twenty seconds are up the spear curls up into a ball of light, and then a shower of spears rains from the skies.

Balthazar carries an axe with him at all times, and when he chooses to summon his special axe he fuses it with darkness. The darkness then rushes through the weapon, and him, and mixes with his shadow. Now as he attacks his opponents the axe cleaves them in two, and if an opponent touches the shadow of the axe, their soul is then cut, and they instantly perish.

Gense wields a standard mace on the battle field. It’s a pointy ball attached to a stick for those of you who don’t know. If she uses her special weapon on the other hand, she can heat the ball until its burning red, lift it above her head, and start swinging it around. As she does, the ball will move off of the stick and a burning red chain will follow it. When she finds that the chain is long enough, she spikes it into the earth. A few seconds later the ball and chain will rise from the ground, and go forward a few feet, after which it dives back underneath, like a dolphin jumping out of the water. After three times of rising and falling, a blast of lava will rise up from the holes in the ground and travels along the path the ball has made, causing a serpent like lava chain to rise up on the battle field.

Chakrams are the weapon of choice of the Earth Warrior, Haruka. By spinning these razor-sharp Frisbees and hurling them at an enemy, she can literally slice them into two. Her aim is so precise that she can kill up to twenty people before the chakram comes back to her. The special weapons she summons are a little different. These two chakrams have the diameter of a doughnut and are as thin as paper. They are harder to control, and are not nearly as effective as her normal weapons…unless she combines them with her element. She surrounds the chakrams in dirt, and spins them on her fingers, vertically, quickly and delicately. Haruka then lets them fly through the air towards the ground, and they drive through it, and upon returning along the same track, the earth spires upwards, impaling any enemy standing above the track.

Larces’ dream was to be an assassin trained in the art of quick kills, utilizing daggers and knives to get his job done. So while he trained in the School, he focused on using daggers as his weapon of choice. He fights diligently, and skillfully whilst upon the battlefield, though he is still to clumsy to be an assassin. His special weapons are a pair of gauntlets with two long blades trailing from the wrist to the elbow. These blades are attached to two cylindrical wooden poles. With a flick of the wrist the blades pop out and by fusing them with his element, he creates two small tornadoes the size of a pug. He then forces the tornadoes together which creates a large twister which he leaps into, after popping the blades back into place, and he travels through the area slashing everything in sight.

Finally, Siscle is swordsman, whose skills weren’t great…..until he was chosen to be Warrior of Water. When this occurred, his confidence sky-rocketed, and he stopped making mistakes. His special attack involves him carving an x into something in the environment, usually something standing vertical, he then jumps up, and as he does a large geyser of water spurts out of the object where the x is. Siscle then lands on top of the geyser, rides on in like a surfboard, and decapitates as many enemies as he can.

Okay, enough about their powers; It’s time to talk about the 6 religions of this parallel Earth. Basically they are all the same religion, each one telling how the Gods created man, the animals, the planet and everything, and each tells about stories of great heroes, with great morals, who did great things for their religion. The difference is that each religion focuses on one of the six gods, and the heroes in each book are different. So basically, if you’re a Fire Wielder you worship the God of Fire, and the people talked about in the stories/Bible like thing are mostly Fire Wielders. The religions won’t come up that much in this book, but if I make another book, which I might depending if I ever do write this one, it will have to do more with the religion. Oh, and if some the creatures I’ll talk about sound familiar, it’s because I decided to use the Japanese version of the Ssu Ling for the basis of four of the gods, and two Japanese mythical creatures for the others.

“In the beginning, there was only darkness, and in this darkness lived Ark. For the first Twenty Million years of his life, Ark was content with being alone in the darkness, but after awhile he became bored. Luckily, Ark was an omnipotent being, who had the power to create whatever his mind wished. He soon began to create objects that he could only imagine in his head. Unfortunately, after all the work he had put into making the objects, he could not see his own creations. To remedy this, he tore open the sky, for that is what he called the area above him, and a brilliant luminance filled his world. At first the light scalded his eyes, causing them to turn yellow, but soon he realized that he could see things, and his creations were beautiful. There was the Earth and underneath of the earth laid the waters. This occurred One Hundred and Ten-Million years ago.

Ark landed upon the Earth and he smiled knowing it was he who had created it, He began to run across the land, feeling the dirt on his feet for the first time, and letting the wind caresses his body. He swam in the oceans, lakes, and streams, and he soaked in the light from the sun, for that is what he called the light. He laid on the tops oh the hills, the bottom of valleys, and on the plains, gazing up at the blue sky, and the white clouds. He soon realized that this was all his, and he was content. This occurred One Hundred-Million Years ago.

Soon, Ark became lonesome. He had this wonderful world, with its majestic beauty, but he had no one to share it with. He closed his eyes, and he thought of what he desired most, companions who would play with him, and help him control this world, and then they appeared five creatures just as powerful as Ark was. He named them, and allowed them to control one of his precious creations.

One was a black giant with four legs ending with sharp claws, a tail, small and curved. This one had a long neck, with a head that had two, soft blue, eyes, and a mouth, large, tight, and powerful, that ended in a point. This creature could snap a mountain in two just by biting it. On its back lay a giant dome that covered its body from the base of its neck to the base of its tail. It was just before he named this creature that Ark saw it was a Female. Ark named her Helen, and gave her all of the Earth to control.

Next was a blue beast with a scaly body that was three miles long from the tip of its snout to the end of its tail. Its head was large and with luscious black hair, cold, purple eyes, a thin wiry moustache underneath its snout, and a mouth so large that it could swallow an entire mesa without chewing it with his long, jagged, teeth. Its tail was quite thin and covered with thick hair. With three razor sharp claws, upon three talon-like feet, it crawled across the ground slowly, so Ark placed it in the water where it could swim powerfully, and smoothly. He named this creature Kroan, and allowed it to control all water in all of its forms.

The creature that appeared after Kroan was nowhere near as large as the first two, though it still was taller than the mountains. It was a golden creature, with four feet, a long bushy tail, and a head with a two large triangular ears that had black tufts of fur at the tips. Its eyes were as black as the darkness Ark had once lived in, but there was a glow to them that shown as brightly as the sun. This creature’s mouth was filled with sharp teeth, and a rough tongue. Upon finding that it was another female, Ark allowed her to control the light, and named her Valyxi.

Before Ark could move onto the next creature, it leapt upon him, pushing him to the ground. Thinking quickly, Ark used his long feet to push this one of off, and then followed suite and jumped on this one’s back pushing down to the ground. The creature soon became peaceful and began to laugh, as did Ark. This beast was as large as Helen, and hairy like Valyxi. Its black and white body was lean and powerful, with four strong legs, a long swooshing tail, and a large round head. Its feet were like those of Valyxi, but larger and its toes were closer together, each ending with a long cruel claw, like the one Ark had on the back of his foot. Its nose was wet; its eyes were an artic ocean, icy and blue. Ark granted the wind to this creature, and named him, Brimir.

The Final creature was the smallest of them all. Its body was comprised of vermillion and gold feathers, a beak yellow and black, two yellow talons, a tail whose tip was black, eyes the color of a heated brand, and a single emerald placed upon its forehead. This creature jumped into the air, spread its wings and flew quickly to the heavens and then returned. Ark saw this and was amazed, and then disappointed. He realized that he had no more creations, as he had given everything out, and was keeping the darkness for himself, to give to this female, for that is what it was, so he promised her that the next thing he invented, she would have. She answered him politely, and thanked him for the offer, she then asked for a name. Ark simply replied, Psyn. This occurred Ninety-Million Years ago.

The creatures and Ark soon became close, and spent entire years talking of ideas that sprung from their minds. One day, Valyxi came up with an idea, something she did often, for a way to make the world a more beautiful place. This “thing” would need all of the elements to keep it alive, Light to give it energy, Earth to hold it in place, Water to keep it healthy, Darkness to keep it moist, and wind to help it reproduce. Most of the gods enjoyed the idea, and they created plants. Now Psyn asked for plants to be what she ruled over, for she had waited a long time for something to come along. Ark and the other Gods thought this over, and said to her that plants were living things, and no being should control something that lives. This infuriated Psyn, so to deal with the problem, she located a storm, and she flew up to it. She began to flap her wings, and she pushed the storm above the Plant, and as she did, a bolt of lightning blew from the clouds, and the Plant was alit by an orange-red light that caused the plant to die. Ark, realizing what had happened, called to Psyn, and told her to come see what she had created. He said to her, “This light, that can only destroy, this light, which has taken away the life of our Plant, this light is what you shall be what you can control. You must promise to try to control your temper, so as not to kill anymore of what we create. I give to you, Fire.”

The gods were all content in making plants. Kroan made plants that lived in the waters, Helen those that lived on land. Brimir helped these plants reproduce by spreading their pollen, and seeds to all the corners of the earth. Ark and Valyxi helped the plants thrive with darkness and light, and Psyn helped destroy the rejects. The Gods were content. This occurred forty-million years ago.

Soon the Gods became bored with the plants. They had become mundane, and though they had filled the earth with beauty, they had lost the ability to awe the Gods. Psyn began to think, and she came up with an idea. Without consulting the others she created beings that looked liked her, but on a much smaller scale. These creatures she named Phoenixes, and they lived off of the earth. When the other gods saw what had happened they each created their own creatures. Helen created the Tortoises, Kroan the Dragons, Brimir the Tigers, Valyxi the Foxes, and Ark the Oni. The gods found much amusement in their creations, until that is they stopped living. These creatures needed foods that were not plants or minerals. The Gods quickly created Chickens, Tunas, Shrimps, and Insects to feed their other creations. That is why for all eternity, these creatures will always be stupid, and shall never form packs. The gods created many different animals, for that is what they called these creations, and soon they were content. This occurred thirty-million years ago.

Over time the gods had grown close to each other, and they were all content with each other, but when it came down to it, each god had found another that he or she connected with, Brimir with Helen, Kroan with Psyn, and Ark with Valyxi. They loved each other deeply, and were soul mates as well as just mates, and though the mating never produced anything, it deepened the love of the pairs.

Soon, Psyn and Kroan began to be bored with the world that had once filled them with such pleasure. They began to talk of leaving the world and the creatures it held for a higher realm, one where they could be with each other with no cares or worries. This idea sounded wonderful with all the Gods, and soon they all agreed that they would do so. Just before they left, Helen raised the point of, “Who shall take care of the animals?” Ark said, I shall craft my final creation, it shall be like an animal, but it will be able to think and feel as we do. I shall call them Humans, and so they were, and with that taken care of Psyn and Kroan Left for the higher realm. The rest stayed and watched the humans for a long time. This occurred twenty-million years ago.

Soon they found that the humans were killing the animals needlessly, and the gods grew worried. To remedy this, Brimir gave the animals more intelligence, and allowed them one leader, this leader would be capable of talking to, and, if need be, fighting the humans. This is why nearly all animals, except the Tuna, Chicken, Insects, and Shrimp, travel in packs, and have a leader that is larger, and in the cases of the animals created in the image of the gods, more like the god that created them. For example, the leaders of the tigers will be rather large, and will have longer teeth and claws and shall always be white. This is why the leaders of the animals can change into humans. This occurred sixteen-million years ago

After granting these powers to the animals, Brimir and Helen ascended to the higher realm. Valyxi and Ark stayed with the Earth, for they both loved it very much, and found that the animals were now fighting the humans constantly, and the humans were fighting among themselves. The Humans created weapons that could help them fight, and destroy, but it only helped them slightly, until the creation of a weapon known to the Humans as guns. The guns could kill things faster than a lightning bolt, and they could kill multiple times. This outraged the remaining two Gods, and they appeared for the first time to the humans. The humans attempted to shoot them, thinking them to be giant animals, but the two stopped the bullets, and using their powers destroyed every gun they found. They then commanded the humans to never create the guns again. The humans began to complain, saying that without the guns how would they survive? Ark sighed, and he said, I shall give you the gifts of the gods, I shall let the humans control the elements, but only one per person, and he did. He then told the humans to live peacefully with the other creatures on the planet, and then the two Gods left again. Valyxi and Ark were about to leave for the higher realm, when Ark had a vision of humans so wicked and cruel, that they would try to take the Earth for themselves. He told Valyxi to go to the higher realm, and to wait for him, for Ark knew that one day he would be needed to help the Earth that he had created.

Now alone, Ark gave the Humans one final gift, six colossal crystals that would alert them to danger, and each crystal would give one human, one of each element, special items if danger did arise. He set them throughout the land, and the humans set up schools around the stones to allow the young warriors of the land to be able to have these items if need be. He left them with this message, “If ever there be a time, when I am truly needed, you shall be capable of finding me in the place where I once sat alone. I shall be in the realm of darkness, waiting for that time.” He then walked over to the shadows and dived directly into it. The oni followed suit, and left the realm of light to be with their master. This occurred ten-million years ago. “

This is the beginning to every Bible-like book in the world, no matter the religion, and it is all true, for the Dark Wielders have been able to talk to Ark himself.

Whew, that’s a lot of information….I have one screwed up mind…lol. Yeah, so until next time, have a Fish. }({-}’)3
